Sanaa is more than a name—it's a bridge between worlds. A fusion of African warmth and Indian craftsmanship, expressed through the lens of modern minimalism and understated luxury. Through real estate and interior design, I create spaces that are not only elegant— but alive with quiet power. Born to Indian parents who were raised in Africa, my life has always been rooted in rich cultural duality. Each summer, I returned to the African continent—not just to reunite with family, but to immerse myself in landscapes that spoke in color, texture, and quiet power. These experiences continue to shape my design philosophy. My Swahili-Gujarati dialect gave rise to the word Sanaa—meaning art, beauty, and brilliance. It became my creative compass. To me, beautiful spaces aren't just styled—they're felt.

About Nisha

My passion for interior design was sparked during my childhood while working in my family’s motels along the California coast. By age 9, I was folding hundreds of sheets and towels each day; by 13, I was learning the nuances of design from my mother as she styled guest rooms and lobbies. At 19, I took over the business, rebranded it, and ultimately grew it to a level that allowed me to retire my parents and sell our assets during the pandemic. In 2023, I transitioned into residential interior design and put my skills in architecture, project management, and designing interiors to the test with the “Belle House,” showcased in this portfolio. Drawing from my hospitality background, frequent travels to Africa, and Indian heritage, my goal is to offer a fresh, soulful approach to livable luxury.
